The power of TikTok

With TikTok, you can create something new and creative in the blink of an eye, and it has definitely taken over the social media world. In the first quarter of 2022, Tiktok had more than 1.39 billion monthly user; a number that keeps growing and is expected to be even higher at the end of this year. Besides that, more than 1 billion videos are watched on the app everyday. 

Why should your brand be on TikTok

The rise of TikTok means an endless supply of short videos, and with that, it opens a lot of new opportunities for brands. As 50% of the app’s users are between 16 and 24, this is the place for brands to reach Gen Z and millennials. TikTok is also different than other social media, by not being focused on connecting with friends, but being (social) entertainment. Users scroll through the feed to be entertained, so that means the content has to grab the attention of viewers to keep them engaged. On top of that, the engagement with the videos on TikTok is higher than any other platform.

The short videos make sure that brands can step in at any time, by either creating content fast, participating in a trend when it’s the most relevant, or sharing their campaigns directed at the target group on TikTok. But, the main goal is to make the content entertaining, while focussing on making the brand visible and stand out from the rest. Overall, TikTok offers brands access to audiences they wouldn’t have reached through a different platform.

Sneaker Siren x Arc Amsterdam

We collaborated with Sneaker Siren and Arc Amsterdam to organise a launch event for our new partnership! At the iconic location of Umsjatka studios in the city center of Amsterdam, we let everyone know about our successful next step. We had a great time meeting up with the community and working with such young and eager professionals! 

Along with organising the Sneaker Siren x Arc Amsterdam event, we also curated goodie bags for our guests. Pictured above is the ‘limited edition’ Arc x Siren collab tee in white, one of the colours available during the event.

Creative partner of Apollo Amsterdam

We are proud to announce that we are the creative partner of Apollo Amsterdam for the 2022-2023 season in the BNXT League. Apollo has been playing in the BNXT League, the cross-border Belgian-Dutch league, since its establishment in 2021.

We started our collaboration with the basketball team back in 2017, and have worked beside and with them for the last 5 years. In the last few years, we have been responsible for the branding, the design of the jerseys, started a CSR project for the team, and organized several events.

Last season, we introduced Apollo's first ever City Edition jerseys (image below). With this design, we wanted to merge the first team with the youth academy by combining the colors of the two sides: the black of the pro basketball team, and the red of the club, BC Apollo Amsterdam. By not making a smooth transition between the two colors, we wanted to show that the two sides always go together; everyone is part of the whole organization of Apollo Amsterdam.
