How to reach a new audience and get sponsors

Apollo Amsterdam needed a different way to get sponsors to commit to them, and create new interest.

Behind the Arc developed a innovative new strategy for sponsors and partnerships called Apollo Connects. The strategy is custom made for Apollo Amsterdam and focusses on all the core values of the club.

In the first year, more than 80 companies committed to the program, therefore Apollo and Behind the Arc decided to take the next step: starting a Corporate League. In this league, companies from all over Amsterdam compete in a weekly league to decide who’s the best basketball company in the city.

Started the first mvo project to develop basketball in Amsterdam with Nothing but Net. With the help of the pro players of Apollo, more than 25 basketball courts in the greater area of Amsterdam were provided with nets.
